Another card for New Years

Hello and happy Wednesday!!!!

Today I have another New Year's card :) For this I used Twilight Tuesday Sketch TTSC14 and for Sassy Studio Design's 25 days of Christmas. This one is for the 19th day of Christmas (Sassy Studio's showed to me...a sassy serving up a turkey dinner).
So here is my giving it a go :)

I used DCWV paper from the Christmas stack and spiced it up with glitter and used white gel pen to write 2010. I also used green ribbon (with green card stock behind it) and again more glitter!!!

Here is the close up on my girl... Also, I'm going to use this card for Cute Card Thursday challenge. Since this week's challenge is to make a card for New Year!

Are you ready for 2010?

Hello and happy Wednesday!
Today I have another card that I'm going to enter into two challenges: Sassy Thursday by Sassy Studio Designs and Simon Says Stamp challenge is to create a Party card.
Sassy Studio asked to follow their sketch. And Simon Said... PARTY! :)
So here is my take on the two:
I turned the sketch the other way, as I really wanted to use this sassy go go girl. Here is the closer look at all that sparkle :) I used regular and liquid glitter everywhere (went over board? naaaaah, you can never have too much glitter!)

And here is the close up on my sweet and sassy girl :) I colored her eyes with blue glitter pen, so it looks like she's always looking at you :) And used glossy accents for her go go boots, so it has the look of patent leather...

New Year's cards

Happy Monday!
I am so happy to say that I met my deadline and have mailed all my Christmas cards last Saturday, Yeah!!!!! Next thing - work on New Year's cards :) and then thank you cards (for all those goodies I'm going to receive this week he-hee)
I'm making my first New Year's card using following sketch and entering it for a challenge at Sketch Saturday Here is my card...
I used bright colors and a beautiful Sassy Studio image... My hands were itching to use this ribbon that I got at Hobby Lobby, so here it is. I also used glitter pens and liquid glitter for my girl's dress (to resemble sequences).
