My first Glitter Bees challenge card

Happy Saturday!
I made today's card for the GlitterBees Challenge! I am super excited because this is our very first challenge :) But there will be more to come (1st and the 15th of every month). Tami came up with this awesome sketch for us to follow:
And here is my attempt:
I made this card for my hubby for our anniversary (well, technically it's not until March 16th, but there is a reason I'm doing it now). We recently printed a copy of our wedding album at Walgreens and when we received it in the mail it came with a confirmation letter which had this little picture printed on it. And being a recycling freak that I am, I decided I needed to use it somehow... So I did on this card...
The picture itself it pretty small, so I layered it on top of blue and white card stock and then used dimentionals. As for paper I used black/light blue core-dination card stock and two Cuttlebug folders. And cut out "Love you" using Cuttlebug as well.
I could not find a way to work a bow in, so I used three flowers instead...
And of course I used a lot of glitter, but since it's for the Glitter Bees, I used whole LOT of glitter :)
Hope you guys like it and I hope hubby likes it too (well, when it's time for him to see it) :)
Enjoy your weekend!
P.S.
Girls, did you have a normal day today? I sure did NOT! :) In the morning I tried to email Jeannie my address, so she would know where to ship my cookbook (that I won!) and I emailed her like 3 times and never included the actual address... then I went out to Hubby Lobby and Dollar store, could not find anything, everyone was pushing, there were like 50 people in the ribbon isle... hello???... and people were driving like crazy... and to top it all off - I made a card and started working on this post, typed everything and it kicked me out...and didn't save anything. Odd right? Specially since blogger normally automatically saves things like every minute or so.... Anyway, I do hope you are having a MUCH better day!!!!

  3. Hey Annie, Beautiful Anniversary card and congratulations on being the first to post...at least the first one I've seen. Your husband is going to love it and you two make a beautiful couple. Sorry about the prior post...I hate it when I make spelling errors that I don't catch!
