Someone at work asked me to make a sympathy card for their friend, so I had to make one quickly. I remember seeing the idea somewhere on the web or one of the magazines and always wanted to try to layer vellum on top of the image, so I thought I'd give it a shot.
I printed bouquet and colored it with different shades of purple. Then I embossed vellum with "with deepest sympathy" with dark purple then I added a little piece of folded ribbon on top of the vellum. Overall I was happy with the technique and thought of many other ways to use it.Thank you girls for stopping by! And thank you for all sweet comments you left me for my Alice card - I greatly appreciate it! Thank you, you are all sooooooooooooooo sweet to me!!!
SOFT and so PRETTY.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty card hun!!! I also like to emboss on vellum on the front side, and then color on the back side. It gives a stained glass look!!
