a card for a friend

I made this card for Aly's challenge, which this time was to use a cat somewhere on your card. I used this greeting farm stamp (with a sweet kitten) and here is the card I made
For background texture I used cuttlebug folder and used stickles for sparkle :) I could not think of a sentiment, but then thought "Friend" would be the most appropriate. I didn't have any just friend cards on hand, so this will be great for those moments when you need to send a card to a friend :)

Can you believe it's 2010? I sure can't! I remember just few years ago we were turning from 1900 to 2000 and now it's 2010 already???? WOW, time flies too fast :)

Today I have a very simple card to share with you. It's a quicky one I made for my MIL. She totally loves cats, so after my DH got me a "Cat" clear stamp set, I thought I would test them out and make a card. I think these cats look pretty cute and they looked even better after I embossed them :)

I added dimension by using dimensionals for punched outs and rhinestones for kitty's eyes :) I so wanted to use paw prints around the card, but the paw stamp was too big (like the size of the cat, he-he-he)Thank you so much for stopping by! I also want to thank you for all your sweet comments - I soooooooooooo appreciate them. And I missed them and you guys so much when my comments option was not working for a few days.
